changing dizzy seal and checking lsd

Ok, so in about 8 hours I'll be doing the tune up on my ae86. Any trick to doing the dizzy seals (using the kbox kit) or is pretty easy to figure out once I got it apart? Also, what is the best way to determine if a car has lsd when you have it in the air? Is it if the tires spin opposite of each other as you turn one you have it, or they need to turn the same way?
