im new to this

Hi all im new to this site
If i insult anyone in any shape or form pls. forgive.
Well any ways i was wondering if anyone knows a thing or
to about a problem i am incountering with my 1997 Toyota
Corolla (1.8)L . Its when i put into drive or 2nd. it will not move.
When i put into L its moves but start to slip that when i shift into
2nd it would catch then start to slip and into drive also.. But to my
when i put into reverce boy does it GO!! help anyone

Yep, talk to a trans shop about the cost of a rebuild, then ask a parts dealer about a second hand one. Do what ever is cheaper. (don't forget labour costs)

The slipping would suggest that something is wrong with the transmission, time to replace it, doesn't have to be "new" you can always buy a used one or a rebuilt one.. used will be cheaper though.
