trade you straight up IF you have a DET in your 240

roight :p

seriously.. u'r looking at about 2-3 grand for a decent road worthy AE92 or AE86

you can get a cheaper one for sure... but unless you luck out across a gold mine, chances are you get what you pay for

Here's a link to my AE92's homepage...

There isn't much info. Are you looking to get a another RWD or do you want a FWD?

I would recommend you go and take a look at both cars if you can, sit in them and maybe take them out for a run so you can compare.

heres the link for every question you need for AE86 and AE92.
but if i were you, i would rather keep your s13 cuz even tho you get your AE86/92 you might still hafto do clutch and engine swap.

A little warnning on these cars though. As they are old they may need some restoration work or at least this is my experiance with the AE86. I recomend having at least $10k on hand to garentee a well rebuild of this car. The $10k includes the purchase of the car.

k 2-3k..thats how much if i sell my 240sx well maybe lil more than that..sorry i dun have a DET but a low Km KAE..i dun see alot good condition AE92 around thats why "sigh"

on the other hand AE86 or AE92 thats is the question, i'm mainly looking for a tough straigh chassis car ..but isn't AE86 dont have independent strut suspension at rear?.

How about AE92? it also needs a lot of money for repair? its engine is not long lasting?. i though 4age is pretty good isnt it?..i really have very lil knowledge on thoes cars.

compare the AE92 and civic EK9 which one's chassis is better? strong?

I'll have to say EK Civic Chasis would be a better start than a AE92. And it has better potential for mods.

werd on civics if u wanna go FF.

and don't knock civics unless you want me to knock ur teeth out. ALL the track civics i've seen are lightning quick.

nothing wrong with live axle rear for the AE86. car handles fine

must agree.....civics are great for track...although i must say, the ef was substantially more flexible than the ae92....92 has a much stiffer and more solid platform...no idea about the eg or ek tho.

4age engines are known to last a very long time.....they've basically got bulletproof bottom ends....just check for compression and oil consumption.
