USA 2007 corolla cold air intake

Hey i just recently bought an AEM cold air intake for my corolla...They said it was supposed to be for the 00-07 but for some reason its alittle different. The instructions say theres supposed to be a vacum line goin to the origianal airbox, there was no vacum line goin to it. but there was a bigger vacum line goin to the begining of the stock air tube. the intake that i got has a spot were the vacum hose is supposed to go from the air box, and no hole were it should go up top.... do i have to cap off the one hole and the drill another one were it should be? Anyone have an experience with the 07?

ok i think i got it all right. I got a reducer from the hose off the valve cover and connected that to the nipple the cold air tube had. Sounds nice, decent increase is acceleration. What else would you guys suggest for a fairly cheap upgrade. Ill get some pics ASAP
