Pretty sure they have a cast head.
We had one in a caldina wagon 95 model, it was a completly bullet proof car.
Clocked up over 250,000km when we owned it and nothing broke. We sold it at about 315,000km.
It was a bit sick when we sold it, but that was because I had stopped driving it the year before and therefore it had an oil change the whole time. (when I say sick I just mean down on power, still didn't miss a beat)
2c's are gutless, but very cheap to run, 650+ km per tank.
