4th Generation Grrrrrr!

I think I am officialy jacked.
I bought my ancient corolla mostly for gigles.
Then some kid at work had me mostly convinced that there would be a lot of aftermarket parts for my 83 corolla. He was wrong. about all I have found are stock replacement shocks and struts and RUBBER bushings. I THINK I might have found some stock springs.
I did get a "maby" regarding a carb and hedder.
Thats about all I have found though.
I should probably quit whining about my $300 driver about now.

Without knowing what motor or which car you have, you can't really find parts. Research your car and learn about what you got, do your homework dude. Go here www.toyota3tc.com

ya corollas are more of a DIY car. you might not be able to find altezza's and such alot of them, but you can sure as hell double the power of your 4ac with an engine swap...

You can double the power of the 4A-C without an engine swap. No big deal really.

As for aftermarket parts, I'm happy there isnt any, it sucks when you can get everything ready made, its like civics, everyone is a clone of each other.

I would've also bought mostly for giggles.. giggles I would get after swapping a 20V or a 4AGZE into the car.

4th Generation

Once I realised just how much of the suspension I do need to replace to make the thing actualy turn let alone handle a corner at speed I decided I would like to spend a bit more on parts to give it some character rather than just good old econobox body roll and chasis flex stock components.
I alredy have a 4Runner 4X4 that I fabricate stuff for.
I have a 50 cal amounition box for a center console,
Acura Integra seats in the front,
half a dozen accesory lights on the front bumper,
a good home built sterio,
2 kill switches (1 for fuel, 1 for spark),
a starter switch,
manual trans. conversion,
a bycycle brake lever on the gear shift linked to the throttle plate (I can't walk after 8 heel toe down shifts in one day)
and I am almost ready to build custom front and rear bumpers.

I might as well see what I can do to the Corolla with minimal effort to make it not suck.
I think I might mesure the springs and see what I can find with a stiffer spring rate.
If anyone knows where I can find some neoprine bushings F&R that would be awesome.
The exhaust is shot so I might as well buy a header and work my way back.
