USA Engine Mounts

93 1.8 has a lot of engine vibration. Are the motor mounts a common problem and if so which one is usually the one that needs to be replaced?

Well he's right, they are a pretty common failure on high mileage cars. And on manuals the front and rear mounts will go first.

You should be able to tell if they're stuffed by watching the engine when it starts. (Lift the bonnent and get someone else to start it). It will move around alot if the mounts are shot.
