AE92 Need Exaust for AE92 GT-S

I think i have a hole in my exaust somewhere, and now i've been losing about 40 miles per tank.

Anyone want to recommend what type of exaust setup i should get? i want a perfomance one, but i don't like loud exausts. how much do they run for anyways?

Thanks

free flowing exhausts usually aren't quiet since your trying to block the air as little as possible.

That hard to say because there are too many variables. Do you need the entire exhaust system? the muffler? from the collector all the way back?....... You want cheap or you want performance?

Cool

you could prolly get some headers and a new exhaust pipe and muffler (not counting catalytic convertor) all for about that price...
IMHO

YOu have to make sure you stay within smog laws.. make sure you have the right headers. maybe on ebay?

I have an HKS Sport cat-back on my AE92, looks pretty much stock and sounds nice. Little pricey though.

This is probably the only exhaust I would ever buy for my AE92. too bad in Canada it goes for about $500 and it's hard as hell to get.

I have a stock replacement cat back with a Borla brand muffler (told it would be a bit louder) that is brand new sitting in my shop if you want it or know anyone that does... I use HKS and love it! no cat is a bit too loud but hey!

Cool

Just have it made,, get estimates from several shops, and let them bend the pipe...
the flew pipe could have a leak..., in that case its like $100 for that piece alone,,, or you can wrap it...

Get the HKS, construction is top notch, fit perfectly, sounds great. It is worth the extra money just to save the headaches that go with cheaper exhaust systems. Plus it is mandrel bent as opposed to crush bending like most muffler shops do.

for those who have one... how much HP boost do you gain? is it dramatically noticeable? Do you guys have aftermarket headers to go with it?
