Canada all lights always on

hey everyone i have a 91 ae92 corolla se, with a 16 valve manual 5 speed, with about 354,000km on it and i have a couple of questions. 1st all my lights come when the car is running, and not just the day time running lights, every light, and i can only put my brights on when i actually turn on the lights, which is ok with me, is that sound normal? 2nd my cruise does not work, and there is only one cable attached to the trotal cable, is there a fuse, or vacuum, sensor, computer, or sme other odd ball brain for this cruise control? i never saw a fuse that said cruise control, so what could it be?

When you say ALL LIGHTS you mean even the dome light and dash lights? Sounds like you have a short. Your cruise should have 2 cables one is the throttle cable and the other cable is for your cruise control.

Daytime running lights turns ALL your lights on (Except the dome light of course) my car has DRL's and they all turn on, big difference to my 89 GTS with no DRL's and no automatic lights.

like diver said there should be two cables connecting to the throttle. Look around to see if it broke or just slid off. There is also a fuse for the cruis control under the driver side dash.

it's normal for your lights to be on (full blast). early models for toyotas with DRL have this system where it turns on your headlights/taillights at full-on.

I only see one cable, its not anywhere that can see, maybe it was broke and removed from another owner. the opened the fuse panel, and nothing says cruise, so not sure, the cruse arm is there but no dash light stating cruise is on...so....???

yes all head and tail, plate lights, except dom lights come,,,so cool.
