I have to get the diagram out,, I can tell you, that I recommend doing this:
1)don't mess with the float. it will probably be set correctly even after all these years form the factory. Save yourself needless work.
Make sure you don't mix up the big three bottom screws, one has a hole through it that must go back intot he proper place for the carb to operate correctly.
YOu can go ahead with almost everything else, but if you are unsure about soemthing that just will not come apart, take it slow don't rush.
Be very careful with tiny parts. and springs.
If you can, buy a can of carb cleaner, the kind witht he basket in it for putting part in while soaking for a couple days...
be very careful what you put into the carb cleaner, don't put plastic parts in or others. The directions also state this!
After a couple day you may forget what goes where, try to take pictures, make notes..
I will close this note and see if I can find a diagram.. but I am pretty sure I sent you most the good stuff and besides the carb kit came with the best little diagram in the kit, that is folded up. it's not the best quality but extremely important. It's tiny diagram with notes for each part in the carb., and you will need good eyes and a magnifying glass to read it. I got my kit at Napa Auto but that was a couple years back..
Oh yeah, take a shop towel and put it in the top of the instake manfild to cover the opening after you pul the carb off.. to keep dirt and parts and tools from dropping into the intake manifold while the carb is off..
did you remember to take pictures? before moving stuff? even while they aey are apart also help.. but before is most important for putting things back correctly..
