Shifter Light - 99 Corolla CE
Has anyone changed the shifter light for an automatic transmission on this model? I was searching through the forum for directions, and I'm not sure that what I've read matches what is in my car. I was able to pry the plastic ring out from around the shifter, but then what? Are there some clips to loosen or something to remove? I don't see it yet. I also do not see anything related to the shifter light in the owner's manual or the Haynes Manual.
All I wanna do is change that stupid light, if it can be done simply. If you know exactly what kind of light to buy, please let me know.
