lsd

I know this question was asked probably a thousand times
but I can't find the section or the thread....
how do you know if you have lsd...

is it spin a rear tire way if the other spins the opposite you have lsd... is this true? and tranny has to be in gear also right?
or drive the car and burnout. It you got two lines you got lsd

Today I was told not too many US or Canadian ae86 were equipped with lsd and that it was an option...

lill confused...

If you spin it, if they rotate in opposite directions, it's open.
Burnout: 1 strip open, 2 strips lsd.

Some US cars had it (option), it wasn't available in Canada.
