if the body is decent, and the car runs great, and the price is right, and you kinda know your way around a car go for it

its seems like a great deal. I have a 97 also. One thing i do regret is having the 3 spd auto trans with the 1.6 . If the car you are looking at is a 1.8 with the 4spd, I would be all over it.

I have a 1.8 with a 4speed, and a 1.6 with a 3speed. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW SLOW THE 1.6, 3SP COMBO IS.
