Unhappy 1998 Corolla steering wheel shaking

Hello,

My 1998 Corolla has 2 problems:
  1. It starts shaking at around 70 MPH but is pretty smooth under that speed. What could be wrong?
  2. When I brake at high speeds, I feel the brake vibrating under my feet. It brakes fine though. I know the brakes are new. What could be wrong, and could this be corrected?
I just did the alignment from Firestone, and also replaced the cam bolt which they recommended.

Thanks in advance for your help.

HAVE YOU GOT YOUR BALL JOINTS INSPECTED?
APART FROM WHEEL-ALINMENT ARE SURE SURE ALL OF YOUR WHEELS ARE CORRECTLY BALANCED?

IF YOU HAVE ABS BRAKES, MAKE SURE ALL ABS SPEED SENSORS OK.
IF YOU HAVE NON-ABS, MAKE SURE YOUR ROTORS AND DRUMS ARE OF BRANDED QUALITY NOT CHEAP ONES AND PROPELY BALANCED, COZ SOMETIMES IF YOUR VEHICLE WAS OUT OF ALIGNMENT PRIOR TO FIRESTONE'S JOB MAY FADDED ROTORS OR DRUMS UN-EVEN.

THIS IS JUST GUESS.
