front wheel hubs

2002 toyota corolla I need to change my wheel bearings and I keep getting conflicting stories on what to change.
1st how do I remove the wheel hub
2nd do I need to replace the hub and the bearings or can I just replace the bearings and keep the old hubs.
3rd what special tools would i need to change the bearings.

Thanks in advance

Bill

The repair guides in Autozone don't cover 1998-2002 Corolla's but according to the Haynes Manual it's the same procedure from 1993 - 2002. Check out the 1997 Corolla guide to see what's involved.

Exclamation

The Autozone might not cover your year, but it only shows the halfshaft removal info for mine:

http://autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker...86.jsp#hd1-1-1

but I also use my local library online auto repair database... so you can use that too, whatever library you use, you log into your account and access the auto repair info..

My ISP is really bad today so I can't do any searching..
