Mystery warning (?) beep

Hello all,

I thought I was going crazy the first time it happened but it happened several times today again. When I make a left hand turn there is a beeping alert (similar to the driver seatbelt alert) and there are NO lights indicating anything is wrong on the dash. This seems to be intermittent or possibly when I make a sharper left turn than normal at a higher rate of speed (freeway transition ramp). The beep will continue for about 5 seconds then start beeping faster. As soon as I straighten up the beeping stops. I've repeated all the above situations on a right hand turn and no beeping.

The corolla is a 2005. If more information is needed I will gladly supply it.

I'm actualling hoping for an answer other than "take it to the shop." I would like to know at least what the problem is before I do that.

Any help would be appreciated.

gas warning? could be that when you turn, the sensor that tells you how much gas is in the tank is not getting a decent reading... but i dunno... oculd be something else... are your turns sharp?

haha I know what it it, if u keep ur hand on the pass seat or have something on it that is a tad heavy it will trigget that... I have a 05 S and that used to drive me nuuuuuuts, I like to keep my hand on the pass seat on the occasion, and when u turn left it thinks someone is not buckled up and beeps... if u look at ur pass side seat belt/air bag indicator u will see the red light flashing....
