oil light on at low rpm?

Hey! Just new to the forum and I'm having no luck with the search/advanced search feature !
My problem is the oil light comes on at low rpm when warm on my 1992 corolla 145,000 km.
I changed the oil and filter... still the same no unusual noises or running hot are the oil sending units a typical problem or am I into a engine wear or pump problem.
Thanks

I might consider using a gauge too check because that sounds fishy, generally at least from my expirience you would have to have a pretty loose and noisy engine to have the oil light come on, you sure you have the right oil in there?
