Question Plug Wires and replace seperately ?

Regarding the distributor cap and wiring, I grew up with seperate components and could just buy wires seperate and the boots, cut them and put them in the cap and on the plugs. Now the crap is all one piece. it drives me insane!

anyone know of a cap I can buy that lets me put my own wires on?

I hate the junk wires we buy in the aftermarket stores. Complete garbage! they should be ashamed of themselves for making and selling this $hit.

I really just need new PLug wires, I have two caps that are in good condition, but have to remove them just because thre wires can't be replaced..

In fact, I would like to make sure I get some answers,, because I need to put new wires on very very soon.

I know I can buy high performnace wires in differetn sizes online or in race shops. But I would like to know about being able to buy denct wires and put them int he cap. What a huge waste of money throwing away caps with no problems with wires that suck arse...

my car: 1989 Toyota Corolla Sr5 with carb.

Thanx..

yeah for the 4af and 4afe for the ae92 at least the cap and wires are one piece, and cost 110 or 120 at the dealer. They are cheaper at other auto part stores
