Well I had my car checked out again last night. I found out that there was nothing wrong with my engine which is good. But my catalayic converted is destroyed on the inside blocking air flow wich is why my car has had poor acceleration. My intake may be broken or have something blocking it as well but I hope not.

I would except for the fact that the is damn near new when I bought it off Randy and he had replaced the stock with a 2.25 inch pipe. I think it might even be a straight pipe. I think I'll go out side and check right now.

The only place where the pipe bends is to go over the axle. The only way I see it getting straighter then that is if it goes through the axle. So I guess that means I already have a straight pipe?

i think by straight pipe they meant ditch the cat.. the weird thing is this, like you said gord, i had the piping replaced very recently.. when I had the pipes changed, I also had the cat changed.. that's supposed to be a brand new catco cat in there.. i wonder how it got clogged?

I'd ditch the cat but I have an emissions test in October and I'm not sure if I'll have to have one more before it turns classic.
