Canada Airbag Ligh gone on after .........

HI all,

When I bought my Corolla 93 ( manual) 2 yesr ago, I had to change some pannel and dashboard lights ( they were blown), SO I had to remove the speedometer box ( whole box ) to change the bulbs from back, and had to detache the Cable from that too ( 2 cables that were connected by ports). after doing job and replacing that, My Airbag is always on. IS there any solution other than removing battery cable? ( this solution is not working).

Thank you

You screwed something up. Also, check the owners manual. IIRC, some systems will self check after x years to force you to get the system checked due to age.

Thats the proceedure i know its for a camry but its the same for the corolla, only difference is terminals "Tc" and "AB" are in a slightly different position refer to the cap for the diagnostic port..

I did this on mine and it worked fine,
