ae86 crank pully/keyway

whats the easyest way to remove the crank pully and is it reverse thread? also can i use the 20v crank pulley on my 16v? and where can i buy a new keyway?

EASIEST way isn't the safest way (but don't at shops.... even by toyota mechanics)

what you do is get a 1/2" breaker bar with a cheater bar to lengthen it.... with those attached to the crank pulley, jam the breaker bar against the frame (or anything VERY sturdy.... i've even done it by holding the cheater bar myself)

then have someone click the starter over.... the car does all the work for you....

if you're lucky, then the pulley won't be welded to the crank via rust (which happens sometimes) and you can just wiggle the pulley off..... the woodruff key will come off when you pull the lower timing gear off
