What are you wanting to know?
What gearbox/engine do you have now? What do you wnat to change to?

If you phrase your question in a way people can understand then poeple can answer.

to use an E series gearbox you need to have the clutch, flywheel, and PP for an E series transmission.... the input shaft seal on the tranny is much larger....

Which route would be much cheaper for me to go with?

I have both transmissions for the 4AGZE MR2 C52[which is complete: flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and starter(no axles)] and a Corolla GTS fwd transmission(which is incomplete: no flywheel, no clutch, no pressure plate, no starter, or axles). I already see that the input shaft of the MR2 tranny is much bigger than the input shaft of the corolla.

I currently have a complete 4AGZE from an 88 supercharged MR2, but confused on what transmission to go with to get my car running. Would it be better for me to go with the MR2 tranny with custom axles? Or should I use the GTS Corolla tranny? But for the Corolla GTS tranny I need to buy a new flywheel, pressure plate, clutch, and axles... Please help me!!!

you will need to modify any mr2 transmission to have your shifter linkage work with the ae92

you can use the 4afe clutch, pp, starter, and axles with a gts trasmission, you just need to have a matching 8 bolt flywheel to bolt to the 4age crank

Have a read here, http://www.fasterthanjesus.net/technical/mr2box.html

It's a very good write up about converting an Mr2 box for FWD use.
This is for an Mr2 turbo box, but the aw11 gze also runs an E series box so most of it should be the same.
