AUX input for Corolla factory radio?

I have a 2004 Corolla w/ factory radio (single CD & tape player). I was thinking of getting the Harmon/Kardon Drive+Play for my iPod:

It'd be nice to wire it to the Corolla instead of using the FM transmitter. Anyone know if it's possible to do this? On the exterior of the factory radio, there's no AUX input.

Thanks for any help,
Nick

IPOD Options

I think the transmitter option is not a good one, at first glance this is real sweet unit as I am looking for something now myself. I was considering a blitzsafe unit maybe, they have both aux and ipod connections.

I would like a less expensive option if possible, since this is just a commuter for me.

yeah, I suppose it'd have to go into a rear AUX input (if it even has one). Anyone have experience/knowledge with this?

I put an Alpine 9846 (i think...) and it's working great. <<$150>> I ran a 1/8 stereo cord from the back of the radio to the e-brake grommet. My car is an 01 Rolla, so the radio fit perfectly in the single din. If this radio was installed in an 03-07 Rolla, an adapter would be needed. Good luck. Oh yea...check out crutchfield.com for fit, specs, and reviews.

Screw the OEM radios, aftermarket FTW! most (if not all by now) aftermarket radios have an AUX/Ipod connector available.

HATE the stock interior

How'd you do that? I can't STAND the green lights everywhere. Where'd you find the bulbs? Also, do you know any way to change the appearance of the speedometer/tachometer guage plate? I found a website: http://www.caribbeancustomdesigns.co...33&language=en
I'd rather do it myself if I could. I found a website a while back that stepped you through it, but for some reason that website doesn't exist anymore. Help please! thanks.
