AE92 Jumpy idle need diagnosis

Hey toyota nation.... Im having a realy jumpy idle, and never had this problem before. A few weeks back i noticed it was overheating and leaking antifreeze. I tested the radiator and found the leak. Due to the weather; my new radiator finally arrived. I installed it, and filled up the radiator with 50/50 blend (coolant /distilled water). Now time for me to start her up; so that the thermostat will open up, and i could finish filling the radiator. Only now the idle seems realy rough, and jumpy. The coolant dosnt seem to be going into the engine at all. My geuss is that the thermostat is stuck closed. Im not exactly sure where the thermostat is located though.. 4AGE

Is it possible that my water pump is busted?

Do a compression check. Overheating can cause piston rings to break, and you don't want to keep running an engine with broken rings, they can score the cylinder walls.

Modification: Changing something to what you thought it should have been from the start!
