Hey there, I broke an interior door handle. My question is...does Toyota have a metal door handle, instead of that cheap plastic one that I have now? And...if there is a metal handle, could you point me in the right direction to buy one?

My 01 has had to have been replaced, but I don't thimnk that the plastic is cheap. Its decently thick for a for being a plastic part and fits perfectly. Depeding on your inside color, I would stay stock anyway.

I hate to bring my car to a car wash, but that's what I did. (Salty car, low temps.) Then later on that day I noticed that my driver's side door handle was busted. From now on I'll be bringing my car to a car wash that you stay in your car.

How did the car wash break the interior door handle? I could see it possible breaking the extiorer handle by getting caught in it and ripping it out. Ive taken my rolla though many o washs, and I have never had a problem. Don't forget to lower your antenna.

I guess the guy at the car wash just felt like pulling my door handle really hard. I always have the antenna down, because I have an iPod with 17k+ songs and radio sucks hard.
