Amazingly, no. With the seat all the way back on the rails and two clicks leaned back, my knees are about an inch from the dash and the very top of my head is about an inch and a half from the roof. The AE92 seat does sit a little lower than the AE102 seat used to, though, I used to only have about a half-inch of clearance. My sight line isn't the best for anything vertical, as you can imagine...I took off the sun visor and got a few more degrees of visibility, but that's about all I can do.
This, incidentally, is why I hate modern car design with the tiny greenhouses and window areas. Visibility is crucial for me, and when the top of the windshield frame of, say, a Z05 Vette comes to the top of my glasses, I don't fit so good inside. Leaning back (the wigger way) isn't an option because I'm still pretty nearsighted even WITH glasses...and don't even talk to me about old Supras. To even sit up straight to the point where I could comfortably work with a 2nd gen, I literally had to open the sunroof and use that space.

RX-8? Disaster. Liberty? Disaster. Lucerne? Disaster. Sebring? Disaster. (Although the convertible was workable.) Focus ZX3? Disaster. MR2-S? Yes, but the windshield bar came to the top of my forehead with the top down. I could live with that.
I do fit, barely, in an 07 Boxster, but it's more like a cocoon than a car.
No, the AE102 actually has a lot of room for a guy like me. I can put her on cruise and be able to (with a little ingenuity) straighten my legs completely in that footwell. Yes, the window proportions are more on the scale of Popemobile than pimpmobile, but at least I can see.
