Want to Add Remote Starter to Corolla CE

Hi all,
I am wondering if its possible to add a remote starter to the factory installed Keyless entry system? I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE.

yes, many remote starters have the option to just add it to the existing keyless system with no problem.. Just read the details before buying and if in doubt, pay a professional to install it...

Could u possibly identify some good choices? Would the dealership be a good option to have it insalled? I saw 2-3 shops here (oklahoma city, ok) that advertise remote starters with install and I was wondering if I should go to them. I don't know about their repute locally so am pretty much looking at the dealership to help install it.

Depends on what you want.. they all have some type of guarantee to work, etc... As far as brand I'm familiar with Viper, and Omega ...

Some have a ton of options to roll up and down windows, some have pagers that tell you if someone bumps or sets off the alarm, some have temperature sensors that keep track of the inside temp... etc, etc and the basics just start it up and have the keyless entry...

I installed mine, but The small shops will do just a good job maybe cheaper than the dealer, maybe not just shop around and see what type of guarantee they can give and if still under warranty, just go to the dealer as if something isn't installed right it will not void your warranty with the dealer...

Hope this helps and good luck....

Your opinions are much appreciated. I'll probably go with the dealership and have it installed there since the car is new and I don't want any troubles with warranty etc.

Thanks for the brand names as well. Don't want a lot of options. Basically just want to have it remote started. Its my wife's car and she has to go at 5:30 am for her job and returns around 6 or 7pm. It gets really cold in OK sometimes so I thought I'd do atleast this much to help her.

Thanx for you help.
