Any experience with upgrading positive battery cables on a 97 corolla?

and I know this might be more suited for the audio section but I need Corolla owner opinions.

I am upgrading my stock battery cables to larger. The negative wiring seems easy to figure out but the positive is a little confusing. My new positive battery terminal has 1- 1/0, 1- 4, and 2- 8 gauge connections. I would like to replace the stock positive wires with 1/0 and use the 4 gauge connector for the amp.

Anybody done this?

Any ideas on what the size/ length of each piece?

I see at least two wires connected to the positive terminal and they disappear to an enclosed tubing.
