Well I have a diff from a '86 GTS. Mine is a 2 pinion open diff with a 4.30:1 ratio.

The code for the diff should be on the plaque on the firewall or the drivers door.

I believe it should be 4 characters long, starting with a letter followed by 3 numbers.

example :F372.

Go to www.toysport.com then look under tech info. click on differentials. All the code meanings/numbers are there.

Most of the gts models came with limited slip and disc breaks... and a 4:30 to 1 ratio

i also need help, I broke one of my axles, does anyone know where to find one?

LSD was an option so it depends if people opt'd for it or not. If you picked up a canadian car then it won't have lsd unless someone installed it after since it wasn't an option here
