alright I have a 96 corolla. Ive done alot of work to it. the next thing i am doing is a manual tranny swap and something with the engine. I havent decided what tho. I want to know is there a site out there for high compression pistons, what engines can I swap into it?

Minimal work:
4AGE, 4AGZE

More work (custom mounts, etc)
3SGE, 3SGTE, 7AG(Z/T)E, although that's not an off-the-shelf...

I don't know about pistons for specifically the 4AFE/7AFE, but you should be able to get away with 4AGE pistons. In the 7A block, if you've got a 7AFE, the 4AGE pistons generally run about a point of compression higher than they would in a 4AGE.

what years did the 4age come in? Does any one know a good site to get pistons for toyotas? I just started this quarter at school and this quater is engines so I have an endless supply of tool and equipment. I want to put a 4age 20v in to replace my 4afe. im also swapping my auto for a manual. I know that I need the ecu and wiring harness for both swaps. Do all the motor mounts line up, will the drive axles be the same? Ive done acouple swaps so im not completely brain dead about it. I just want to make sure I do everything right the first time.
