Personally I would keep any non-stock parts off which could in any way allow the dealer not to honor the warranty the car until it has expired. Or at least remove the items before taking the car in for service, etc.

Sort of related to your post...
My dealer told me that I couldn't use silverstars in my headlights while under warranty, they said they over heated the headlight causing it to crack and fog...I got in an accident and had the headlight replaced and the repair shop told me the same thing

when I got home I popped some silverstars back in...that was two years ago with no problems since so go figure
Guess what I'm trying to say is if something breaks down and there's an after market part invloved to get out of the expense of fixing it they might just blame that as the problem
