the following is purely my opinion, so take it for what it's worth.
I'm all for ppl gettin jdm bumpers and shit, cuz frankly, the extra length from the US bumpers make the car look like ass.
having said that, spending 1500 USD on a frigging body kit when the rest of the car hasn't been sorted out yet is IMO, not a wise investment.
When the car's got one large hole and 2 minor defect at important chassis points, I'd get that fixed first before looking to add more exterior bling to the car.
That's point one.
Point number two: Let's say you see a Honda, or NIssan 240SX. The car you see has ALL the JDM kit on the car and it looks REAL aggressive.
you find out it's a stock motor.
what'd your reaction be? the car looks fast, yah..frigging front air dam and rear splitter and all..but is it? you know the answer to that one.
I'm not telling you how to do YOUR car up, and it's obvious my priorities are different from yours, but if you were to see what happened to some of the lips and skirts on the EGs and DC5s that went off the track last weekend at fabi, you'll think twice before getting bumpers like those.
That is of course, if you REALLY drive your car and not just baby it by having it out on the street. If it's just a show car, then i won't see a prob but just watch out for the potholes, railroad tracks, and curbs
and oh.. get an alarm before you slap that shit on
on a completely side note... i'm headin to joetsu city later on in the year

cant' wait to snap some pics
oops, one more thing. i realised i didn't answer your question
1500 USD isn't a GOOD deal not when it's just an OEM rear bumper that's part of the deal
shipping isn't free. you've already paid for shipping at 1500 USD, don't forget the taxes andshit when it comes here
so 1500 USD + whatever brokerage is + 15% sales tax on 2000 cdn.
2500 for bumpers and the question is is this a good deal?
mmmmm, i think my motor can be on the road 2500 bucks later
