Having Clutch problems.

I just bought a 92 geo prizm. same as corolla. and im having some clutch issues. today i was driving around and i go to stop but 2nd gear wont disengage. and my car dies..i force it into neutral, start it back up and go to put it in first with the clutch to the floor and it grinds..i pump the pedal and i feel that im getting more pressure. and it drives fine. but i have to keep doing that to get in the next gear...
what could be wrong?

The clutch master or clutch slave are leaking. Check your fluid level to see if it is going down and behind the boots on the master and slave for fluid.

I check on the firewall to see if the master cylinder was leaking, and nothing was wet or slimy. I dont know if the slave is leaking just yet.

i think im going to just replace both of them and if that doesn't help, what would it be?

The clutch master would not show that is leaking at the firewall. The actuator rod from the clutch pedal is where you would look inside of the boot or at the rod if the boot is filled up and leaking at the hole.
