Thank you to all the guys who showed up at the last Karting event.

I might be heading to Detriot this weekend

 oops. Oh well, she was kind of in the middle of the road alot so she was getting bumped by everyone.

Can't blame her though. She probably wasn't the car nut type to know about lines AND LETTING FASTER KARTS PASS!

Oh well, maybe I'll go kart next time, but never liked prokarts. One of the times, I had a really slow kart so whatever. waist of my money.

Kevin

I find they are pretty much the same karts, its just your preference on the way it reacts with you. I liked one kart, george hated it. Its one of those things...you just gotta get lucky or compromise with the karts and drive them how they like to be driven.
it kinda sucks like that.
oh ya
DONT USE THAT MUFFLER KART!!!!!
atleast i ain't anymore, its got more balls than i can handle on that track!!!!!

Let's do this regularly, say once a month till track season opens?

I like the fact that they aren't perfect karts and the track isn't the best... makes you learn how to improvise and drive good on the fly.

i drove 2 karts that night. kart A i had for the beginning practise and the final heat. i head kart B for the rest of the heats i raced in.

to say they are "similar" is a far ways off. one had superior brakes, the other had no brakes at ALL. one had some throttle response, the other had a LOT.

not gonna bother with the push/loose issue since no kart behaves the same, but the brake/gas part took a while getting used to

i don't know...teh carts are either slow or fast...other than that their nuances are sutble...just take a while to get adjusted to...maybe a couple laps or so.

I agree with you guys. It's luck of the draw sometimes. For instance the kart Nick hated, I ripped my faster time with. The kart I hated worked out well for Peter.

Some say the cream always rises to the top. I beg to differ sometimes. In the final my kart wasn't the greatest. But I made due.

The variations in the karts makes it interesting and I feel it makes you a better driver.

Other karting tracks I tried around Toronto have more forgiving karts. ProKarts is definitely a drivers track.

George
