Need help wiring neons on my car

I want to wire some blue neons inside my car. I want to wire them up to the dome light so that everytime i open the door the neons would come on. Does anyone have any knowledge on wiring and how to do this i would greatly appreciate it.

You're going to need one 12v Bosch-style relay to do it the right way.

You are going to need to locate your door trigger wire. If you give me the year of your car, I can tell you exactly where to get it and what color.

The door trigger should send out a negative trigger. Tap into that wire, and hook it to Terminal 85 (or 86) on your relay. Hook the opposite side (86, or 85 if you started with 86) to a constant source of power. I'd recommend using the White (large gauge) wire located on the ignition harness. (Make sure to put a small, 10amps or so, fuse on the lead going to the relay, but as close to the 12V source as you can.

Now, connect Terminal 30 on the relay to the (+) wire going to the neon transformer (ground the other wire). Now connect Terminal 87A to Terminal 85 (or which ever one you connected to the 12v source).

Whoops. I was assuming 06 or older.

Your constant wire is going to be black @ the ignition harness (larger gauge than the others)

The door trigger gets a bit tricky. There is a separate wire for each door. Some people would think you could just wire the wire to all 4 door trigger wires. You do, but you have to diode isolate each wire to prevent the opening of one door telling the BCM that all 4 doors are opening.

The LF door is blue at the BECU, 26 pin plug, pin 24. The RF door is yellow at the BECU, 28 pin plug, pin 21. The LR door is lt. green at the fuse box, R side, 13 pin plug, pin 7. The RR door is gray at the BECU, 28 pin plug, pin 5 or 7

Hey thanks for all your help man, ill let you know how it goes later on. But if you could help me with one more thing id really appreciate it. I don't know if what you told me to do earlier would also what i'd do for this. I bought these door sills that light up blue from ebay, this is the item number 150086052109. And the guy told me to wire them to the 12v dome light electric source so they'd light up everytime i open the door. Now would i use the same process you told me earlier or should i just wire them to the dome light source and if so could you tell me where thats at. Thanks man for everything.
