How much for a replacement Radio?

Just wondering if anyone knows how much a dealer would charge for a replacement Radio for a 2006 Corolla? The front says TOYOTA A51814, I believe it is made by Panisonic. Thanks.

I would suggest getting an aftermarket one will most likely be cheaper too

Definitely go aftermarket, there is a world of better options out there to replace the crappy stock unit. It will sound a lot better too.

Oh don't worry I already have an Aftermarket Kenwood Head Unit, with a Sub, and Sirius tuner, and an aux in for my iPod, LOL. I know aftermarket is better, just wondering how much a dealer would charge for a new head unit?

They'd probably have them on eBay for fairly cheap. People need something to do with the old ones once they replace them.

You'll find prices all across the board, but if I had to guess I'd say it's gonna be around $500 just for the part. Could be more, could be less, but thats my guess.

Check completed auctions on ebay to see what they actually sell for. What the dealer gets really means nothing.

I am going to guess the only factory radio's going through the dealer parts partment is insurance companies & dealer warranty replacement

Not sure are they consider cheap or not but they do have alot of different kind of toyota oem radio.

i would go for an aftermarket radio, the dealer will charge you like crazy if you want to buy one from them
