ae92 sedan owners.... anyone want any prizm gsi parts?
I know this technically should be in the for sale section, but i'm not actually selling anything as the car is technically still for sale whole.... and will wait a few days to see if there's a reaction for the whole car or not.... this is just a feeler for parts....
So.... i just picked up a 1990 geo prizm gsi yesterday.....
for those that don't know, it's a 1990 corolla gts in disguise.... has a smallport 4age, c52 trans, 4 wheel disc brakes, front/rear swaybars, front upper strut brace, better gauges, better seats, etc.....
and the body is a rusted pile.... to the point where I wouldn't drive it on the street (drove it here, and that's it). So I mainly purchased it for the parts.
I'm just curious if anyone here with an ae92 sedan would be interested in any of the parts.... (minus the engine and transmission). They would not be free (obviously) and you would pay for any shipping charges. The rear brakes will go into my ae92 sr5 unless someone wants them bad enough.
Things that I would be willing to ship would include stuff like:
gauges
wiring harness & electronics for an easy 4age swap
swaybars
strut brace
window/lock motors/switches (all work)
etc.....

BTW.... was in a junkyard, and there was a geo prizm lsi (1990-1992) sedan..... had the exact same dash and same shaped gauges (but still the non-tach crap gauges)

rear brakes are going on my ae92 "sr5" unless i get a very hefty offer (ie, it probably wouldn't be worth it to you... especially since the whole hub assemblies have to be shipped... which wouldn't be cheap)
as for the swaybars......
Front swaybar with body brackets, bushings, and control arms (direct bolt in) $150
rear swaybar.... i'd have to talk to you about that a little... since they require the struts (which I don't need.... but i'm sure the struts in this are bad... and they use a changeable strut insert.... so you would also have to end up buying new strut inserts on top of everything else)..... and you need the struts/casings because the rear swaybar endlinks bolt directly to the strut casing in the rear...... i'd probably say like $50 including the strut housings
Prices don't include shipping
as of now all of these parts are still in the car as it's still a rolling chasis.... i'm just stalling to make it a non-rolling chasis.... lol

I need a fuel tank sensor (float assembly) my gauge doesn't read the fuel level correctly, but it does correctly read when when low on fuel the low fuel light comes on, but the float sensor is bad. Also, need the switch for the electric mirrors (it is in the console between the seats). Do you know if those parts will fit a 1989 Corolla SR5 (4AF) Carb model.
