Need 95 Corolla Strut/Spring

Any know where I can get a used (or cheap new) front driver's side strut and spring assembly? Even just a spring would do. I am passing my car for inspectoin and the only thing left is a broken spring, so I figured I would swap the strut at the same time since the passenger side was done last summer. I got a quote for $350 for the coil spring and strut, which is way too much. If anyone has one for sale, just hit me up!

Thanks

Question

wrecking yard?
get a spring there, but shocks would be a huge gamble..

IMHO

get a spring compressor, just in case.

look and cross reference the years you can grab a spring off of, so you don't have to target your specific year, the spring for you model maybe on several years and models.. Use an internet search so you can canvas many wrecking yards in a few minutes..

Alright thanks man.........I think 93-97 have the same parts if I'm not mistaken, so I'll have to look around a bit. I called all the scrap yards here and they said they very rarely have corolla parts lying around, surprise surprise, lol. Mine has 270,000km now and it still runs just as good as my new car........not as nice mind you, but still runs

BTW, sorry for the double threads, internet screwed up

I wanted new, but a new strut costs $120 at my local parts store. The only thing I really need is a spring, but figured I'd get a strut the same time just for a better ride. So the only place I could find a coil over spring is dealer and that was 150 + tax (just sping, not strut). So I called one place today and they just got one in and said he could give it to me for $85 + tax for whole assembly, strut, spring, etc with a full 1 year warranty. Its used but what have I to loose with 1 year warranty? I finally think my car is ready for inspection

Thanks anyways man, but got it taken care of. I can't get over how good the car runs. 270,000km and it's almost as good as my new car.

Past year or so, I replaced:

-struts/springs (front)
-filler neck
-plugs
-wires
-timing belt
-waterpump
-alt bearing
-brakes

Not too bad for a 95, but now she is as good as gold

Going out to take some pics now

Here's some pics.......Car is rotten and looks bad. Just had a blizzard so salt trucks got the ashphalt turned into dirt roads. Clean it up a bit when it warms up.
