Replacing cigarrette lighter on 2002 Corolla?

My mom gave me the car and the cigarette lighter has been broken forever, never bothered her since the other outlet still works but sometimes I like to have more than one thing plugged in at once so I plan to replace it. However, I need to know how to get the dash apart to get to it.

dude its probally not broken, its probally a fuse thats blown (or partially blown), or a wire thats disconnected in the back of it. Check those fuses out.

No it is falling out of the dash, I think that qualifies as broken. It still has power, I just can't plug anything into it.
