f style head

Will a 1.5 liter or 1.8 liter f head fit on a 4afe? I know g head will as long as you get the matching 4ag pistons. I need another cylindar head and can't find any 1.6's in the junkyard. Anyone have any 1.6 cyl heads complete laying around?

i have a couple complete 4ag heads... but i'm sure you don't want that.... the old 4afe head I had is long gone, and the 5sfe head I have won't work

the 7afe (same year to same year) will match up...... they use the same head.... however, if you go out of range for the years you may find yourself needing different parts to finish the job

If its an A series engine, it should fit the block.

try www.car-part.com there you will be able to locate one

BTW the 7a and 4a head is the same for 93-97 models and fairly close to the older 88-92 heads but things like the distributor will really screw you up, also if your car is carbureted there is no intake manifold to use
