well.. check out any of the japanese engine shops in your area.. chances are they can get you a GZE for your car.. there's a few places in T.O. that will do it.

Make sure they're getting you the engine, tranny and ECU.. hopefully the wire harness is not cut.. even if you get the engine, the transmission on your GTS should just bolt on, if I'm not mistaken.. you would have to get the proper ECU though... the GTS ECU is not setup to run a GZE engine. You're looking at around $2100 and up for a GZE or a silvertop 20V with tranny and ECU in the Toronto area.. not sure about BC though... a Blacktop 20V would probably cost you a bit more.

if u get the aw11 gze u will still have to cut the harness even if u got one that's uncut. every wire that's going to the ecu will have to be extended....not sure about the body harness...possibly those ones too because it's designed to be put in a mid engine car...ur putting it in a front engine car.

u can retain the ae92 tranny or use the tranny that came with the gze, both work...but the ae92 one is closer ratio.

with regards to ecu, u have to get the corresponding ecu to the gze u get...ie) if u got a map gze, u'd obviously need a map gze computer.

aw11 gze should run u about 800-1000 bones with tranny... ecu's shouldnt be hard to get.

as for the ae92/ae101 gze's....they get quite costly....about 900 to upwards of 1800 depending on where u go and if u want tranny/harness with it or not.

The AW11 GZE were only 145hp and they had AFM, the AE92/101 GZE from 1990 and up, were MAP sensored and had 170hp, they're also harder to find.

The turbo MR2 engine is the 3SGTE, there's been a couple of people that have done this swap on AE92's.. very expensive though, since the engine is not a direct swap, so you would have to do custom work. Also the engine itself is expensive, so you're looking at $10,000 or more to do a 3SGTE swap.

The 1990 and up 4AGZE engines have more HP than the previous generation ones.. and they were only found on AE92's in japan.. the previous generation GZE were found on AE92's and AW11's.

well if his questios were more specific...he'd get more answers.

but since it's so broad, ppl'd have a hard time answering cuz it'd be almost similar to writing an essay

so for background info, google searches work the best IMO
