my 4afe corolla has just started to shudder when its idling, but no anytime else. at stoplight, and a stop sign, anytime I'm not moving... even if the car is in neutral, but i noticed that if i just touch the gas and raise the revs a little or when its cold (the revs automatically go up 500 or so) it stops . so my quick fix would be to adjust the idle a bit to make my rolla a bit more comfortable. is adjusting the idle possible? how do you do it?

If it idles bad, fix the real problem, not by idling it up. maybe the plug wired are old, and misfiring.. but, if you insist... autozone.com has instructions for idling the car up..
