Halogen Headlight Upgrade.

I've installed a set of Bosche halogen headlights in my 84 Toyota Corolla, I usually swap out the stock 55/60watt bulbs for 90/100s and I'm wondering where do I wire in the relay to take the extra load ?

right to the battery I thought.

Or is it the power gets wired right into the battery, and the relay into the old plug.

Generally its hooked up directly to the battery and also from the female sockets to the connectors. Its pretty self explanatory.

Here is an example of a 9005-9006 relay harness connector. The connectors (on the left side) are to be plugged into the connectors where its connected to the bulbs. There are also a set where it has postive/negative terminal connectors. What set did you get? Got pics?

My system is nothing like any of the pics you've posted, it's an old 84 with the usual 3 spade connection for the bulbs.
