2004 "S" Governor

Ok, I'm not very automotive savvy. I know my general ways around a car but I'm not a hardcore yet.
I've heard that there is a fuse that can cut off my governor in my car. I'm not sure if it's true but I'm just wondering if anyone knows if that's true or not and if you can specify instructions on how to turn it off, remove it, or bypass it.
I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla S with Cold Air Intake and it'll top out but it wont pass 110. I am eventually going to "fix" it up. Haha.
Anyone got any suggestions?

I think fuel cut is set at 114 if I remember right. Anyways, Ive never heard of pulling a fuse, but URD makes a "speed unlimiter"... www.urdusa.com.

EDIT: here is a direct link to it, its not listed as being compatible with Corollas but call/email them. They told me they could make one for me about a year ago when I called: http://www.urdusa.com/product_info.p...s_id=120000007

They are good people. I bought plenty of fuel control stuff and a s/c pulley off of them.

Speed limiter is set within the ECU parameters and can not be disabled simply be removing a fuse. It would require bypassing the speed limiter via programming. Unless you have the proper mods to support the high speed then you shouldn't be going that fast. And besides, it would take the Corolla 9999999999 secs to get there.

its actually governed due to the speed rating on the stock tires.

If you are going to be regularly driving over 100 upgrade you suspension and get some Z-rated tires first. Speed without safety is just plain dumb.

tires and suspension are the biggest concern at that speed....you need chassis stiffeners and to lower it....i would think that as high as a 9thgen sits it will probably take off around 125

greddy makes a product called the speedcut which sends a false reading to the governor making it think you are only doing 90
