AE92 4AF troubles =(

okay i have two issues...
the first one is the car.. it has an oil leak coming from the crankshaft seal or w.e but thats goign to be taken car of so i was wondering the car leaking alot of oil will tend to get hot? i was driving it around my neighborhood and it started to over heat so i stopped and let it cool down... and other thing that the car hasbeen doing is when i am driving it just tends to shut off in neutral at a stop sign the Rpms just drop to zero n the car shuts off i put it into first and accelerate and its okay once i take my foot off the acc. it shuts off... does any one have any idea whats going on with my car =(???

I don't think the oil leak will make your engine overheat if you keep refilling the oil. Are you getting signs of oil in your coolant or coolant in the oil?

have you checked your coolant levels? and the thermostat, mine was effed and it make my car over heat. As far as your idle dropping...did you adjust the idle at all? your choke might be sticking too.

Exclamation

I suggest you be extremely careful and take note before and during any carb tuning. If you have a carb... Use a website and/or manual to guide you. Once you mess with the carb, you may not get it back to the factory settings, or a shop's settings.

IMHO
