Need adivce on buying a corolla...

i'm looking for an 03-06 corolla used and was wondering if there were any problems with corollas within those years. The XRS is where my eyes are at for 14 g's used... is it worth it? if i can't get the XRS i might get the next best model... which is the S i assume? would like advice from you guys since most of you own these cars [=

Only problem with the Corolla is the Honda fans think they look boring.

Buy it beat their civics with a stick then steal their chicks

Get a base model. You probably won't feel much of a differenc,e except in your wallet.

haha i have to admit... all of my friends are telling me to get a civic... but i think the corolla is pretty nice. espically the XRS! guess if i can't get the XRS then i'll settle with a base model corolla... but for those who have the XRS, is it fun?

Definitely XRS is a lot of fun and is worth getting it (if you can find one).

Having owned a Corolla S for 1.5 years and an XRS for 2.5 years, I can say they feel like very different cars. The suspension, brakes, steering feel is very different on the two cars. Ofcourse, you have the stock 170 HP high-revving Celica GTS engine and 6 speed manual transmission with the XRS too. That is just a start. Modding it makes it even more fun.
