Difference between 90 and 93 hitches

Hi everyone...i have a 1990 corolla se 4-door sedan 5 spd 1.6 engine.
I'm looking to install a hitch to tow a small trailer (1000 lbs) i have found a local ad in which someone is selling a 93-97 corolla hitch for a really good price....
My question is: Does the 93 hitch require extensive modifications to fit the 1990 model?
I find it hard to find any info at all on 1990 corolla hitches and Reese isn't even listing that year, which leads me to belive that there aren't any hitches even on the market for 1990 corolla...
Could anyone provide me with some info?

Guys...does the silence mean that there are no hitch options available for 1990 models?

i'm sure you could modify the 93-97 hitch to work on a 90 but its a diffrent body style. take some extensive welding / torching / drilling technique U-hal doesnt have a listing either , theres probally a reason for that
