AE92 idle sensor?

my corolla has been having alot of problems latly as you guys have probably been reading but heres the last one... when i turn on the car it idles for a sec and it dies when im driving the car.. it does the same thing it turns off once i let off the gas... do you think it is the idle control sensor? i need to know ASAP so i can buy ittt

What RPM does it hold when it doesn't stall?

Vacuum leak?

Dirty air filter?

Idle speed adjustment?

Check this link and do some research it may help you describe your problem better ...

it doesnt hold at all i mean i set the rpms high so icould drive it to the mechanics shop. but i i was ridding hte gas to dto pat a light hit neutral n my foot on the gass if not it would just turn off.. i set it to liek 1500 rpm and when i turn it on it just shuts off earlier i was able to drive it around the block when i got to the stop sign near the end of the other block it would just shut off so i was tihmking it could have been a sensor me and my dad checked al lthe vaccum hoses n they were okay but i dont knwo it still kept turnin off hopefully tomamrrow the mechanic can fix the problems but i wanan know so if it is that sensor i can just buy it and have them install it
