4AFE, 7AFE Timing Belt-The Same?

Hi, all ,

Its's time to renew my 96 Corolla 1.6 L timing belt, and I've bought a kit which contains the belt, seals and tensioner.
But on the box it's got written, "Corolla 1.6litre (7AFE) 92-98" So I'm not sure if it's got a 4AFE or 7AFE belt in the box.
This wouldn't normally bother me, I assume it's a typo, but I've heard that the 7AFE block's deck is higher than the 4AFE. If this is the case, it'd need a longer timing belt to compensate, and keep the tensioner at the right tension.
So, my question is, Is the 4AFE timing belt the same length as the 7AFE?.I don't want to pull it all apart and then discover that I have to run around getting the right belt.

Puzzled, Bazza

Many thanks, guys! I checked the belt in the box and it's a Gates T236 (117 teeth) so it's the right one after all. Now, all I have to do is put it on. I haven't done a front drive timing belt before, but I hope there's more room to work in there than there appears.

Yeah, well, I guess they must have designed them so they could be worked on. But I don't know how mechanics with big hands get on. I could change a belt in my ST141 Corona in an hour or so. But, that's progress for you.
