USA 92 Corolla DLX Wagon won't start

My son-in-law tried to jump-start his 92 Corolla DLX wagon (lights left on) and managed to cross wire it. It blew the 100 amp fusable link. All other fuses are OK. The engine fires when the ignition switch is in the START position but does not fire when in the ON position. Is this a cooked ECU or is there another possibility that I have overlooked?

double check the fuses in the engine bay, and under the dash. so it runs when in the start position, but not the on position? or does it just crank? I wouldnt jump to a bad ecu, if it was it shouldnt do anything, specially not fire (assuming fire means the engine is getting spark and fuel and running until it is put into the normal run position on the ignition).

It RUNS in the start position. I checked all of the fuses that I could see. Any idea which fuse controls the ignition when it is in the ON position?

This turned out to be the fuse for the fuel injection. I checked that fuse twice and it was OK. Makes no sense to me. The car was taken to Toyota service and they claimed that the fuse was bad. Hopefully my son-in-law learned a valuable lesson. It cost him around $250 to have it towed and have diagnosed by Toyota. Thanks for the suggestions.
